Plaid and Happy. I am always on the lookout for fabric that I want to use for still lifes. This cheerful cloth was an estate sale find of a vintage plaid pillow case. It makes a good backdrop for the aqua glass jar filled with flowers that are such a joy to paint. The layers include vintage papers of music, dictionary, polka dots and a smattering of envelope liner.
